Multi-systemic therapy
Multisystemic Therapy (MST) is an intensive family and community based treatment model that focuses on addressing all environmental systems that influence and impact chronic juvenile offenders. These systems include the home, families, school, teachers, neighborhoods, employment, and friends. MST recognizes that each system plays a critical role in a teens world and each system requires attention to make the effective changes needed to improve the quality of life for the adolescent and their family. Multisystemic Therapy is an clinically proven method of therapy that utilizes both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a Family System’s Therapy approach, it is used world wide to make lasting changes for adolescents and their families.
